You can manage tasks more efficiently, quickly get work to the right people, and fix mistakes without starting over – freeing up more time to get work done.
In My Tasks, use the gear icon to:
- Cancel: Stop the business process
- Delegate Task: Allow another worker to act on your behalf for the task
- Delete Incomplete: Remove a task you started but never submitted from your My Tasks list (i.e., incomplete)
- Reassign: Change the person responsible for completing the task
- View Details: Access more information about the business process, including its current step, history, and related steps or approvals
If you Cancel or Delete a task, don’t forget to click “Submit” on the Cancel Business Process task that pops up.

- Find the Workday Dashboard You Need to Support Your Role Workday dashboards give you quick access to reports, tasks, and other tools you need for your work, all in one place. The new Commonly Used Dashboards page makes it easier to find dashboards that may be useful for your role.
- New Personal Information HubStarting August 28, employees will have access to the new Personal Information Hub in Workday. The Personal Information Hub brings important personal details together in one convenient location.
- WISER Access Extended through September 2029 WISER will remain available through September 30, 2029. The timeline for retiring WISER has been extended to ensure employees can continue accessing the information needed for reporting and daily business operations.
- Manager Insights Hub launches July 31 Starting late on July 31, managers will have access to the new Manager Insights Hub in Workday. The Manager Insights Hub brings important team management tasks together in one place.
- Workday Feature Release Live on September 19, 2026 Workday will be updated on Saturday, September 19, as part of a planned Feature Release. To stay informed on what’s changing, visit the Workday Feature Release web page regularly.
