The Wisconsin Institute for Citizenship and Civil Dialogue (WICCD) invites Universities of Wisconsin students to participate in a workshop focused on free speech and academic freedom. This day-long workshop offers students the opportunity to learn from experts, engage in discussions about challenging cases, and analyze campus policies.

This workshop is a non-credit bearing educational enrichment experience for students enrolled full time in a University of Wisconsin System university.

Registration is required to participate. The deadline to apply is April 4, but only 36 students will be accepted, so don’t wait to apply! Students accepted to the workshop are required to complete a set of readings to prepare for the workshop and actively participate during the workshop. Students who complete the workshop receive a $500 stipend. A social security number and other information required by accounting services must be provided to receive the stipend.
