The Universities of Wisconsin, a constellation of 13 public universities with campuses across the state, are home to world-class education, research, and outreach.

The Service Operations team within UW-Shared Services exists to standardize processes, consolidate operations, and streamline administrative practices in order to provide high quality services while improving administrative efficiency and effectiveness. In addition to providing high quality services, Service Operations brings value to UW institutions by reducing administrative burden and cost, thereby allowing them to invest time and resources into activities which are more central to their mission.

  • Customer Success Team: This team focuses on all aspects of customer success from providing customer support with issues and questions to communications, web page design and maintenance, and employee training.

THIS RECRUITMENT IS LOOKING TO FILL ONE (1) STUDENT POSITION ON THE UWSS Customer Success Team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Update data in transactional databases
  • Provide support for application materials and other forms/source documents
  • Develop visually engaging graphics and training templates
  • Test training courses
  • Complete final steps in training course development including audio and ADA compliance
  • Assist in sending communications
  • Create and maintain process documents
  • Other business office duties as needed

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Customer service background
  • Skilled in typing, data entry
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to plan and organize work
  • Ability to apply judgment and analysis to work performed
  • Dependable and reliable
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work within a team and independently
  • Experience creating visually appealing graphics for purposes such as training and communication, preferred

COMPENSATION

  • $15.00/hour

WORK HOURS

  • Academic Year: 10-25 hours per week
  • Work will be completed during regular business hours of 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday-Friday
