    **This outage has been cancelled or rescheduled.** From 21:00 Monday 12/15/25 to 05:00 Tuesday 12/16/5, Merit will be working on their network transport at 600 West Chicago.UWSysNet does not rely on this part of the Merit network so it shouldn't affect any services. The work may impact BoreasNet OOB management which may cause.an unreachable condition to Boreas nodes there. No action is required during the scheduled maintenance window.

It will impact the backup circuits 604518-EWINL and 604519-EWINL between UW Platteville and UW LaCrosse. This will not impact service between those campuses as long as the primary network transport remains functional
