Planned System Outages
- The two core Distributed Data Center Network (DDN) routers will be rebooted in order of succession with time in between to allow for failover between devices. There may be a brief pause in layer 2 traffic (same VLAN) between data center sites while the failover occurs. Affected devices are: rn-ddnanimal-226-2-node-act62n rn-ddncssc-b380e03-1-node-pri62n
- The WiscWeb service might be unavailable for 1-3 minutes while maintenance on a plugin.is performed. This update impacts the websites listed in https://kb.wisc.edu/wiscweb/113730 (UW Theme 2.0 sites only)
- Technologists will be upgrading JunOS on the following devices: r-uwmilwaukee-gml r-uwwhitewater-goodhue r-uwoshkosh-horizon r-uwparkside-rita-2 Upgrades are to start at 0600 with completion expected by 0610. A window will be reserved until 0700.
- The PSaaS UW-Whitewater service will be unavailable while maintenance is performed.
- The Oracle Database Hosting (Production) service will be undergoing maintenance. One of the two database instances will remain up so there will be no full database outages.
