Description: Ever wondered if predictive models are magical crystal balls that decide a student’s fate? (Spoiler: They’re not!) This session will take a closer look at the Student Success Predictive Model (SSPM): how it works, what it can and can’t do. The EAB team will tackle common myths, break down the key concepts in plain English (no PhD in statistics required!), and explore how campuses can use data smartly to support students without getting lost in the numbers.
