Summary: The use of electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS) has launched a new nicotine epidemic among youth. Although the cigarette use epidemic among youth has improved over the past few decades, ENDS products gained popularity among the same population. The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of an educational presentation on ENDS for adults outside of school settings who influence adolescents such as coaches, counselors, and parents. This educational presentation increased knowledge about ENDS and supported commercial tobacco prevention efforts in adolescents. Long-term aspirations include improving the overall health of our next generation through nurse-led community education.
