The Board of Regents holds its regular meetings eight times per year. Six of these meetings are two-day meetings, and two are one-day meetings with a thematic focus. Half of each year’s regular meetings are hosted by UW institutions. Five of the Board’s standing committees meet in conjunction with the regular meetings. Other committees — including special committees for chancellor appointments, awards selection committees, and committees on personnel matters and student appeals — meet as needed.
