Director, Administrative Officer, Collaborative for Advancing Learning and Teaching
Megan Schmid is the Director of the Excel Initiative and an Administrative Officer in the Collaborative for Advancing Learning and Teaching at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Providing instructor professional development and facilitating student learning inside and outside the classroom have been at the core of Megan’s work in higher education. She has held various positions in faculty development and student affairs administration, including leading a faculty learning community program for early-career faculty and directing a first-year seminar program.
