Job Overview
Job SummaryPlans, develops, coordinates, manages, and executes the recruitment and admissions process in alignment with the institution's strategic goals. Represents the institution to prospective students with a goal of attracting, admitting, and enrolling a talented, diverse student body. May supervise staff and/or lead a program area.
Job Responsibilities
  • Counsels prospective and admitted students on educational planning and career opportunities
  • Reviews, evaluates, and responds to student applications according to established policies and procedures
  • Identifies opportunities for and develops admissions and outreach events
  • Schedules logistics and secures resources for events to promote the Institution
  • Evaluates program effectiveness and provides recommendations for improvement
  • Creates targeted communication plans and materials based on established goals
  • Delivers directed admissions program messaging to internal and external audiences
  • Identifies, promotes, and maintains internal and external partnerships focusing on outreach, recruitment, and admission
  • Engages in extensive outreach and recruitment events, representing the university to prospective students
