Overview

We are pleased you have chosen to join a dynamic and innovative group of employees at the Universities of Wisconsin whose contributions are vital to the success of public higher education in Wisconsin.

The Universities of Wisconsin offers an excellent benefits package to meet the diverse needs of employees. Your total rewards package includes three main components: wages, health insurance, and, if eligible, an employer contribution to your retirement account. Your spouse and children are eligible for the plans that offer coverage to dependents.

Understanding your options will help you make informed decisions so you get the most from your benefit plans. You are encouraged to attend a benefits orientation during your first 30 days as a newly benefits eligible employee.

Most benefits require enrollment within 30 days of date of employment or when you become benefits eligible.

How to Enroll in Your Benefits

Most employees can enroll by logging into my.wisconsin.edu. Review the benefits welcome email you received and your Enrollment Deadline Worksheet to determine if you are eligible to enroll by logging into my.wisconsin.edu or if you will need to submit paper applications.

If you are eligible to enroll by logging into my.wisconsin.edu view Benefits Enrollment resources (Tip sheet|Video). Help Documents for logging into my.wisconsin.edu are also available.

If you previously worked for the Universities of Wisconsin or for a State agency you may need to enroll using paper applications. Review the benefits welcome email you received and your Enrollment Deadline Worksheet to determine if you need to submit paper applications. Submit paper applications to serviceoperations@support.wisconsin.edu or fax to (608) 890-2327. Note: Written signatures are required on applications. If submitting applications through email do not include Social Security Numbers.

Important: Enrollments must be completed within 30 days of your benefits eligibility date.
