MADISON—Wisconsin Economic Summit IV will expand its reach to economic development partners across the state and nation through a live broadcast via the Web on Tuesday (Oct. 28), sponsored by Sonic Foundry.
“This live Webcast is an exciting development that will allow hundreds—even thousands—more individuals to observe this important statewide conversation as it happens,” said University of Wisconsin System President Katharine C. Lyall, co-chair of Wisconsin Economic Summit IV. “This technology is especially appropriate for the summit, as it is a perfect example of the kind of high-tech industry expertise needed in this state to grow Wisconsin’s economy.”
The webcast of Tuesday’s main events will be available beginning at 8 a.m. at http://wisconsin.edu/summit. The webcast will remain available on the summit website for on-demand viewing.
Sonic Foundry, a Madison-based company and leading provider of professional rich media solutions, is a co-sponsor of this year’s Wisconsin Economic Summit.
Hosted by the UW System, Wisconsin Economic Summit IV will take place Monday and Tuesday at the Midwest Airlines Center in Milwaukee. The event will bring together business and labor leaders, elected officials, university experts and community partners to develop and advance statewide economic development strategies.
The summit is open to the public, and on-site registration is available. More details and a full agenda are available at http://wisconsin.edu/summit.
