MADISON – The University of Wisconsin System kicks off its series of strategic planning listening sessions, scheduled throughout the state, at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse on Tuesday, Sept. 1.
UW System President Ray Cross will be on hand to welcome participants to two UW-L listening sessions on Tuesday:
- Health Session
1:30 p.m., Great Hall
UW-La Crosse - General Session
5 p.m., Great Hall
UW-La Crosse
As part of developing a new strategic plan, the University is asking for input on how the UW System can be even more responsive to the needs of Wisconsin and its residents.
At 14 listening sessions to be held across the state over the next several months, community, legislative, business and other leaders will be invited to share their thoughts on the needs of Wisconsin and their expectations for the UW System.
All sessions are open to the public, but participants must RSVP in advance. In addition to these external listening sessions, each UW institution will host local opportunities for their faculty, staff and students to participate in the strategic planning process.
