MADISON, Wis. – University of Wisconsin System President Kevin P. Reilly today announced five finalists for the position of chancellor at University of Wisconsin-Parkside.
A 19-member search and screen committee, chaired by UW-Parkside Professor Greg Mayer, recommended the finalists to Reilly and a special committee of the UW System Board of Regents. Regent Mike Falbo, a UW-Parkside alumnus, chairs the Regents’ special committee.
The five candidates will participate in a variety of public forums from April 23 through May 7. The forums will provide opportunities for the finalists to interact with faculty, staff, students, and community members. The finalists and campus/community forums are listed below. Information on additional student forums is available at https://www.uwp.edu/chancellor.search/. Reilly and the Regents committee will then interview the finalists in Madison on May 19. The final appointment of a new chancellor must be confirmed by the full Board of Regents.

The person chosen will succeed Chancellor Jack Keating, who stepped down in August 2008 after leading the campus for more than a decade. Lane Earns, Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at UW-Oshkosh, is serving as Interim Chancellor.
UW-Parkside, one of UW System’s 11 comprehensive institutions, enrolls more than 5,000 students from 55 counties and comprises the most diverse student population in the UW System. Leading approximately 500 faculty, academic staff, and classified staff members, the UW-Parkside chancellor is responsible for an annual budget in excess of $71 million.
