MADISON, Wis. – University of Wisconsin System President Kevin P. Reilly today announced five finalists for the position of chancellor at UW-Eau Claire.

A 21-member search and screen committee, chaired by Dr. Rama Yelkur, UW-Eau Claire professor of marketing and coordinator of international business programs, recommended the slate of finalists to Reilly and a special committee of the UW System Board of Regents chaired by Regent Edmund Manydeeds of Eau Claire.

The five candidates will participate in a series of public forums between Feb. 18 and March 6, offering opportunities for faculty, staff, students, and community members to interact directly with the finalists. Reilly and the special Regent committee will interview the finalists on March 20.  Along with Regent Manydeeds, committee members include Regent Jeff Bartell of Madison, Regent John Behling of Eau Claire, Regent Tracy Hribar of Franksville, and Regent Gary Roberts of Onalaska. They will recommend one candidate to the full Board of Regents, which must approve the appointment.
