UW System math faculty and staff are invited to learn about or share their own experiences with select tools and strategies to support student success in mathematics through a discussion series supporting our mathematics Community of Practice.
UW colleagues will lead this Aug. 18 discussion and invite participants to share their experiences using alternative assessments. Dr. Eddie Kim will discuss the use of video-based classroom activities including video exams, quizzes, and review assignments. Dr. Whitney George will share her experience with using projects and reflective portfolios.
