Wisconsin’s statewide tornado drill is scheduled for Thursday, April 11, 2024, at 1:45 pm and 6:45 pm.
You will be notified of the 1:45 pm drill by the UWSA Emergency Alert. This alert is sent to your official email and your mobile phone. Please follow the instructions below to make sure your mobile phone information is accurate in the Human Resources System (HRS).
The UWSA Emergency Alert will be sent out at approximately 1:45 pm on April 11th informing you of the tornado drill and to proceed to your building’s tornado shelter location. Once the drill is complete you will receive an ‘All Clear Alert’ via UWSA Rave Emergency Alerts (approximately 5 minutes after the first alert).
These drills are a critical step toward ensuring your safety by informing you of the necessary safety measures and designated tornado shelter locations in the event of this type of emergency. We appreciate your full cooperation.
